I have a decent assortment of heavy storage bags from half gallon to 2 gallon capacity. Some of these have zip-top sealing, and all of them can be permanently sealed with any commercial heat sealer.

I use these in a variety of ways from water collection/carrying/purification to dry bags for gear in my pack. The two gallon bag is big enough to use as a dry bag for clothing and even many of the more compressible sleeping bags.

I start with my heavy zip-top bags and add two brass grommets and a paracord lanyard with cord-lock to make these into handy water carriers for use around the campsite as a water carrier or a dry bag for your gear. Available in both natural silver and in flat black.

These are quite big. I use them for dry storage in my pack, as they will hold clothing and even some sleeping bags. No matter what the weather does (or if my gear goes for a quick swim), my essential gear stays dry. These do NOT have zip-tops, so I simply roll the top to seal.
